  1. November General Election Day

November 6, 2018, 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM @ Various precincts around the City of Taylor

Michigan’s Gubernatorial Election, along with many other key races, will take place. The Clerk’s Office reminds everyone that there have been changes made to voting precincts throughout the city this year, and high interest and revisions in the actual voting system could cause delays at the polls. If you are still uncertain of where you vote, you can search your voter registration record at https://www.michigan.gov/sos. “I am asking that voters be prepared for longer than usual wait times at the precincts,” City Clerk Cindy Bower said. “(Michigan) recently removed the option to vote a straight party ticket. Voters will no longer see an option to color in one oval to vote for the entire political party on the ballot. This change, along with the anticipated higher volume of voters, will add to the time it takes for voting. We are doing everything within our power to make the voting experience a pleasant one.” For more information, please call 734-287-6550, option 6.
