The City of Taylor communicates with its residents in many different ways.

Press releases 


The City posts official press releases and announcements on a variety of subjects, from news to events. Press releases are posted as "news alerts" and "events" on this website as well as forwarded to media outlets in the area.

Photography 


The City takes photographs of many key events in the community, and is more than happy to share them. In most instances, they are posted as "albums" on the Taylorcity Facebook page and on this website. If you see a photograph that you and/or your group or organization would like, please contact this office.

Taylor Today Magazine 

The Taylor Today Magazine is produced through a partnership between the City and Community Marketing & Publishing. The magazine is published six times a year, every other month, starting in February. For editorial or advertising questions, please contact this department.

Social Media 

The City publishes most of its news and events on various specialized Facebook pages and leverages many others, depending on the content of the information. We also use Twitter. Join us on Taylorcity, Taylor-MI Recreation Center, Taylor Farmer's Market presented by Beaumont, Taylor Summer Festival, Taylor Community Pothole Program, Heritage Park Cleanup Day or Rick Sollars for Taylor. The City is on twitter at City of Taylor,MI (@CityofTaylorMI).

LED and static message boards

The City has both electronic and static message boards located throughout the community to post announcements and events. Please contact this office to get your event posted.

Cable Channels 

The City has a governmental channel on both Comcast and WOW. This channel is used for various reasons, including announcements and news. Please contact this department to get your event posted.
